- The stem of the wine glass should be placed between the thumb, index finger and middle finger.

- These three fingers will be the only ones in direct contact with the stem of the cup, so the remaining two fingers should naturally rest on the top of the base.
2.- Hold the stem with your thumb and index finger
- Go around one side of the stem with your index finger and then support the other side with the pad of your thumb.
- Keep your hand positioned toward the lower half of the stem of the cup.
- The fingers of your hand that are loose should be flexed into your palm forming a sort of loose fist.
3.- Hold the stem directly over the base of the cup
- Your two fingers will hold the stem of the cup and also touch the top of the base of the cup.
- Support the cup from underneath by extending your middle finger outward.
- Allow your remaining two fingers to rest naturally.
- These fingers can press into the palm of your hand or continue to rest next to the middle finger according to your preference.
