Ingredients

  • 8 red apples
  • 1 liter of purified water
  • Cane sugar

Utensils Needed

  • Pot
  • Wooden spoon
  • Glass jar
  • A clean cloth

How to prepare

  1. Wash the apples very well
  2. Thoroughly wash a 1 liter jar and allow it to air dry
  3. Cut the apples in quarters, leaving their peel and organic residues
  4. Add them in the clean jar taking care that they occupy 3/4 of the same one
  5. Then in a pot dissolve two tablespoons of cane sugar with two cups of purified water
  6. Let it boil
  7. Add the sugar preparation in the jar with the apples
  8. If necessary, water can be added to the jar to cover it completely
  9. Close the jar with a clean cloth, making sure that it is well closed to avoid the entrance of any foreign body that could alter the preparation
  10. Store the bottle in a dark place at room temperature

  12. At the end of the estimated time, you will notice that the liquid has a sweet smell so you should strain and return the vinegar to the jar
  13. Put the jar back in a dark place for 3 or 4 more weeks
  14. Stir every two days
  15. After 3 or 4 weeks we can observe that the vinegar has the necessary acidity and is ready to be consumed.
